Toast diagonally-sliced baguette slices in a 350°F (180°C) oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Brush toasted crostini with 2 tbsp (30 mL) extra virgin olive oil and rub with a clove of garlic.
Spread chèvre on each crostini, sprinkle with Maple Flakes, and drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with toasted walnuts and arugula.
